Kyle and Angie purchased Cabin Bear Hug in late 2023 as a place to get away to the mountains. Angie has been coming to the Great Smoky Mountains every year for the last 20 or more years with her family and brought Kyle for his first time last year. He too, fell in love with the charm of the Smokies. Both avid hikers, they have hiked all through the Great Smoky National Park, Acadia, Shenandoah National park, and will be heading to Tour de Mount Blanc this summer through Switzerland, France, and Italy. Kyle is the general manager of a cattle farm in Virginia and Angie works in tech sales. Their other hobbies include bee keeping, flower farming, cooking new foods, and hanging with our redbone coonhound, Oakley.
